Live One-to-One Online Guitar Lessons
Most online guitar lessons are an app or a pre-recorded video. Mine are a real live lesson, just you and me on video, with studio-quality sound from a broadcast microphone and a real valve amp. We work through the Rockschool grades, so you always have a clear path and a real qualification to aim for. I hold an enhanced DBS check, have over 20 years of one-to-one teaching experience, and teach students across the UK and in English-speaking time zones around the world.
Online Rockschool Guitar Lessons With Studio-Quality Sound
Every lesson is one hour, live and one-to-one on video. No class, and no recording to watch on your own. I play through a real valve amp and speak through a Shure SM7B broadcast microphone, so you hear true guitar tone, not a laptop speaker. My camera switches between a wide shot and a close-up of the fretboard, so you can see exactly where my fingers go. Lessons follow the Rockschool electric guitar grades, which gives you a clear path from your first chord to Grade 8.

Prices and Lesson Times
Your first 4 one-hour lessons are £79. After that, lessons are £40 an hour, or £35 an hour on weekdays before 3pm, paid in advance in blocks of 4, weekly or fortnightly. Online lessons run on UK time all year, on weekday daytimes finishing by 2pm UK time, and on Saturdays when the diary allows. If you live abroad, check your lesson time against UK time whenever the clocks change. Rockschool exams are filmed at home and submitted online, and results can come back quickly, sometimes the same day.
